蒂森克虏伯集团下属的罗特艾德有限公司（Rothe Erde GmbH）是全球领先的无缝环轧件制造商，总部位于德国多特蒙德，技术研发中心设在利普斯塔特。XREM在此领域的成功基于罗特艾德超过一百年的钢铁产品生产经验，以及先进的无缝环轧件生产设备，其中核心设备由德国西马克技术有限公司（SMS Holding GmbH）生产和安装。XREM生产的无缝环轧件作为结构部件已被广泛应用到风力发电、齿圈、机械工程、近海科技、回转支承、大型阀件、管道和压力容器。
2009年, 蒂森克虏伯（中国）有限公司（TKCN）全面控股XREM。 4月，TKCN投资的风电用大型铸锻件生产线正式启动。作为新能源产业基地的核心企业，XREM将担负起中国清洁能源——风电行业蓬勃发展的使命。

Xuzhou Rothe Erde Ring Mill Co., Ltd. （XREM） was registered in Xuzhou in 2005 as a wholly foreign owned company by Rothe Erde GmbH of Germany ThyssenKrupp and locates in Luoshan Road, Xuzhou Economic Development Zone. The registered capital is 2,774 million dollars.
Rothe Erde is the worldwide leading manufacturer of non-ferrous metal rings, headquarter is located in Dortmund, and the research & development centre is in Lippstadt, Germany.
The foundation for success in XREM is more than 100 years of experience in steel working from Rothe Erde, and advanced production equipments, the core equipment of which is produced and installed by SMS GmbH. The seamless rolled rings as structure elements are for Wind Power, Gear Rings, and Mechanical engineer, offshore technology, Slewing Bearing, Large Valves, Pipeline, and Tanks.
The project of large rings with wind power invested in full 100% holding by ThyssenKrupp China Co., Ltd. opened on April 2009. As one of the core members of new energy industry base, XREM will shoulder the tasks of developing Chinese Clean Energy Industry-Wind Power.
